What happens in my first session?+
Create a free account, choose a target score, and optionally add your test date. Your first 20-minute session mixes English, Math, and Reading so Climb36 can start learning your strengths and where you need practice. You can also focus on a single section.
Do I need a starting score—or a goal of 36?+
No. You can start without a previous ACT score. Choose a goal that makes sense for you, and change it later. As you practice, Climb36 builds an estimated score range and recommends what to work on next.
What is free, and what needs Pro?+
Free includes daily adaptive practice, built-in hints and explanations, the first full-length practice test, and parent sharing. Pro adds every practice test and a live AI Coach you can talk or type to. The homepage demo uses built-in hints; it is not a live AI conversation.
Can a parent see my answers or messages?+
The optional parent view is a read-only summary of practice time, score trends, skills, and next steps—not your private Coach conversations. Students create the sharing link and can revoke it. They can also opt into weekly parent emails and turn them off.
Can I cancel Pro?+
Yes. Cancel renewal from your Billing page in one click, and keep access through the end of your paid period. You can also choose to stop renewing after your test date. Free accounts do not require a payment card.
Is the predicted score an official ACT score?+
No. It is an estimate from your practice, shown as a range because test-day performance varies. More practice gives Climb36 more evidence to refine that estimate. Climb36 is independent of ACT, Inc., and all practice questions are original.
